Open positions: Purchasing Administrator – Located at Edmonton Head Office
Pacific Trucks specializes in new and remanufactured brake and drive train components and supply a broad range of aftermarket brand name products for heavy-duty truck parts and accessories. We are a leading supplier of truck and trailer parts and equipment, serving customers throughout Canada.
Sourcing/Procuring products for stock next day air freight, special orders, etc.
Liaise with vendors on status of orders and back orders.
Monitor inventory levels, predict risks, and plan accordingly.
Liaise with A/P department to resolve 3-way match issues.
Investigate and resolve invoice variances in price and/or quantities.
Effectively use Min and Max parameters to effectively order replenishments.
Use our alternate sources for product, as required.
Prepare various ad hoc reporting and other duties as needed.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy is a must.
Be coachable, with willingness to learn from all levels of the organization.
Recent 5+ years in purchasing role, ideally in Heavy-duty Truck Parts
Expert in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Outlook)
Solid understanding of sourcing, parts cataloguing, & cross-referencing parts.
Experience uploading POs thru vendor Websites.
High school diploma or higher.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice to Haves:
Experience with Karmak ERP systems, either Legend or Fusion.
Purchasing related additional education. I.e., Seminars, College, PMAC, etc.
